Cooper Norris, Irene Monson, Richard Heersche still in running for Pig and Cow $200 winnings

He also still has two teams that can reach the finals: Kentucky as a national champion and Florida as a finalist.Dan Monson, who was not on our leader board as of last week, is sitting in second with 84 points with the same finalists. He can’t win the bracket because Norris has more points. But he most certainly can finish second place. Irene Monson, last week’s leader, is currently in third place. She can still win the whole thing if Florida wins and Wisconsin loses on Saturday.Richard Heersche is the dark horse coming in from the outside. He has 73 points which puts him somewhere in the upper middle in points scored for the 90 brackets submitted as of right now. However, what Heersche has going for him is he has both Florida and Wisconsin which will give him significant points over the final stretch. If Florida and Wisconsin win on Saturday and Florida wins on Monday, Heersche will win everything.Bob Meyer, whose current 66 points, is nothing to write home about at the moment. But he can still win a lot of points and finish second with the same scenario as Heersche.Dalton Whaley and Mark Miller can finish second and third respectively with a Florida national championship win and quick elimination of Wisconsin on Saturday. Now if Wisconsin and Connecticut win on Saturday the Pig and Cow bracket contest is over. Norris will win, eking out a two-point victory over Heersche.Lots of different scenarios, but the dirty little secret about Bracketology is it always how you finish not how you start. Those early round upsets are only significant if the team you have in the Final Four is the one getting upset. Then your bracket is shot. EntryNo. of pointsNat. Or did you have a computer program to figure it out? 🙂 Report Reply 2 replies · active 332 weeks ago +3 Vote up Vote down CueballSumnernewscow 94p · 332 weeks ago It took me awhile Becca Sue. Last year was easier because I did it online. But that posed some other problems, so I went all paper. Basically, the easiest way to grade these brackets (and it took me awhile to figure it out) was look at it from a national champion perspective first and move inward. You can eliminate a lot of brackets that way if you know they have no chance of winning.
